We are a group of local and international volunteers committed to protecting animal welfare in Kuwait. PAWS immediate aim is to open our rescue sanctuary for injured, lost and abandoned animals.
Palakkad Pravasi Association of Kuwait (PALPAK) is a registered non-profitable, non-political, non-religious socio cultural organization of the expatriates of Palakkad District (of Kerala) in Kuwait with a view of sincere and dedicated service to the entire society. PALPAK was registered with Indian Embassy during December 2007. Keeping the main objective as the development of the community, to provide humanitarian services and social or cultural unity among the Palakkad expatriates in Kuwait.
NSS-Kuwait Vanitha Samajam elected new office bearers
NSS-KUWAIT held its Vanitha Samajam meeting on 14th May 2011 at Rythm Auditorium, Abbassiya and elected its new office bearers for the year 2011 - 2012. Presided by NSS-Kuwait President, the meeting highlighted by its overwhelming participation of its Vanitha members from all areas of Kuwait.
Shanthi Venugopal was unanimously elected as the new Vanitha Samajam Convener and Mily Nair and Kumari Balakrishnan were elected as the Joint Conveners.
The new Area Coordinators also were elected in the meeting and accordingly, Dina Prasad, Sandya Gopakumar and Reshma Rajesh (Abbassiya), Nidhi Rajeev, Bindu Anil Kumar, Dhanya Anil (Farwaniya), Dr. Anitha G Nair and Asha Rajeev (Salmiya) and Suseela Ramachandran, Reshma Sabu (Abu-Halifa, Mangaf, Fahaheel) are the new Area Coordinators.
An action plan for 2011 - 2012 activities were drafted at the meeting. Shanthi Venugopal had called for all NSS-Kuwait Vanitha Samajam members to come forward to participate in all its activities and requested their support and co-operation for the successful functioning of the Vanitha Samajam.
The welcome address was given by Suresh Nair, NSS-Kuwait General Secretary and Kumari Balakrishnan, Joint Convener delivered the vote of thanks.

Navelim Youth Centre was established in the year 1987 and is fully registered with Indian Embassy and KIFF. The main objective of the Club is to promote sports and develop mutual understanding and friendship among the Indian Community in Gulf and also to provide Social Services to the poor and less fortunate back at home in India.
