Welcome to our AVON family and the world's number one Beauty Company. AVON started way back in 1886 by our founder David McConnell, as the California Perfume Company. Later it was renamed AVON. In those days women had few opportunities besides doing their normal household work. Our founder thought of this splendid idea of giving women a chance to earn money at the same time choose their hours of work. The AVON representative went door to door selling her merchandise through catalogues and samples. Thus started the concept of DIRECT SELLING and today AVON is a very important member of the Direct Selling Association.
