Kuwait Motoring Company (K.M.C.) was established in 1987 at the recommendation of the Higher Council of Traffic and the approval of the Council of the Ministers after viewing the feasibility study prepared by the Kuwait Institute for Science Research on the serious investigation of traffic accidents statistics in Kuwait.
