Kuwait Malayalee Catholic Association (KMCA) was founded in 1972 as a forum for the Malayalee Catholic community in Kuwait, at a time when the facilities for fulfilling their spiritual needs were meager and the resources limited by the alien Muslim country. Since then, KMCA has remained the common umbrella for all the different rites from Kerala, the Syro-Malabar, Syro-Malankara and the Latin, and it still continues to perform as a common platform for all of these rites
