The card costs just 5 KD for all students (school, university and high instituted) you will start to save as soon as you start using your card at the participating retail and service outlets. Imagine the money you will save over the duration of the year!

This project is directed to preserve sources of the national heritage, and to make it electronically available for readers through optical scanning and digitized processing, to make textual electronic storing of book anthologies, rare local and world periodicals, documents, manuscripts and publications about the national heritage, within the national bibliographical system following full text automatic searching. The project shall comprise the following sub-systems:
o Preservation and restoration of the national memory sources: Full texts of 1000 rare books of the Kuwait collection ( Kuwaitiana ) are chosen, entered and stored in the computer, on CD-ROM format. Up till now 580 books and periodicals, with 160 000 pages, are entered.

The establishment of the Medical Library in 1976 has progressed into the development of the Health Sciences Center Library in 1982. HSCL is located in the new Health Sciences Center building. The new modern building offers library patrons more space, comfort and state of the art facilities.
The HSCL is the main source of health information for the four faculties, which include Medicine, Allied Health, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. The Library strongly attempts to provide users with the up most professional services and with latest medical information.
