The Britsh University of Kuwait (BUK) has been established in co-operation with the University of Bangor (United Kingdom),which is one of the most prestigious British universities. An agreement of co-operation was singed between the Kuwaiti and British sides on 20 February 2007 in the presence of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and the British Ambassador to Kuwait.The agreement was signed by Dr Abdul Aziz Al-Sayed on the Kuwaiti side and Professor Mervin Jones on the British side.
